I reviewed a few episodes of the first series called Candle Cove during the Halloween month last year. The second season called The No End House just started last week.

This is a pretty good little series that Syfy is running and they renewed it for two extra seasons. The next one will be called Staircases and features one of the It Follows actresses. The fourth one will be called Hidden Door.

Here is my quick review of the first episode of The No End House:

During the opening I forgot this was called Channel Zero and thought we are going to get yet another mysterious TV channel show like in Candle Cove. And then the setup was slow with the usual teenage stuff. But it gets better and turns into an awesome start for the first episode. I had a feeling where it was going as I couldn't imagine that they would continue with the setup for the whole season. And it has the potential to be really good. By the way, I would have been out of there at the first room.

This is worth checking out during the October month.

Despite lots of acclaim in the horror community, I thought both seasons were pretty dull and unremarkable.

But news for those who do love it:

Season two aired last fall, but you won't have to wait a full year. Season Three, titled Channel Zero: Butcher's Block, premieres on the SyFy channel on February 7th.

I really liked the first season. The second, not so much. I'll watch the third to see where it goes but i have low expectations.

That's earlier than I expected for the next one. And they changed the name of it. I'll watch but I think the show might be better if they were to shorten the stories to 3 episodes. Perhaps during the Halloween month have an episode Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. But break it into different stories each week. As with both seasons so far I thought the stories kind of fell apart or I lost some interest after the reveal and the first few episodes.

It took me a few months to get through season one. Unusual bit I wasn't crazy about it. I will give the second season a shot.

I watched the whole season. As with all of these Channel Zero seasons so far, the first episode is the best. However with this season, I liked the setup the least of all of them. And because of that I was glad when I finished the season. These seasons are only six episodes and unlike the previous two, I watched one of Butcher's Block per day. Previously I would watch one a week when they were released. I will say a slight spoiler
in that if you ever thought small people couldn't be threatening, the opening of the first episode will change your mind.
But other than that, like the other two seasons, it just kind of gets boring with the later episodes.
