did this movie get released early? I thought it was slated for may 13th but it was in the best buy add around here (IN) and shows it to be in all of the local stores. Any reason for that?

thanks for the tip SpaceAce. i ran out to best buy and picked it up!

I had pretty high expectations for this one....

the movie is stylish, very brutal and bloody, with some good music.

the only problem is that we've seen this familiar plot too many times now.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Hostel. I wanted to love it but the lack of originality kept slapping me in the face.

Once or twice i felt a Calvaire or Haute Tension vibe.
For my money i enjoyed Borderland a bit more than this.
anyway when the dust cleared i liked the movie, but i think its just a bit overhyped. I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10

    This movie was fucking awesome!

and I hated hostel, kinda liked hostel two and am generally not a fan of the recent line of torture films. This one was done really well, i think it's more of an homage to texas chainsaw like haute tension (which was also great) there are definatley other elements that make this film good, and it's beautifully shot! Really reccomended!

Just saw this and it definitely reminded me of Texas Chainsaw. Very brutal French film. Picked up the DVD for less than $6.00. It's also available on German blu-ray but I heard that was a cut version and it's also not English friendly.
