I liked this one. I have a director-signed copy of the DVD. It plays more like Taxi Driver than slasher, but it's good.
I just sold my Synapse DVD a few days ago in anticipation, so I'm definitely in. LOVE this movie, I even prefer it to Silent Night Deadly Night.
Looks like it carries over the Troma features in addition to the Synapse ones. Very cool.
The Synapse Transfer was a revelation compared to the Troma disc, unsurprisingly. Curious how this looks.
I will gladly sell off my Synapse DVD for an upgrade--such a terrific little movie!!
The Troma disc also had an interview with Brandon Maggart and Sgt Kabukiman...
I usually don't bitch about artwork too much. But ick! Fan of the film, will buy the blu-ray for sure. Exciting package, but I sure hope they offer a reversible cover.
But will they carry over that fun little comic strip insert from the Synapse release? That alone makes me want to hold onto that one
Agreed, terrible cover art. Garish, and not representative of the film. Sounds like a worthy upgrade disc-wise, though.
I hope it comes with a lifetime subscription to Penthouse magazine.
Anyone get this early and know if it has a reversable cover with the original artwork. I cant stand that cover art.

I am now dying to see this. It seems to be pretty well-regarded.
I'm a huge fan. I met the director once too.
It's $14.99 on Best Buy.com.
Everyone needs to remind Amazon of the lower price.
Just had shipment notification on my copy - can't wait to see this
Amazon are the Christmas turkeys, is it me or are their prices sky high nowadays? :bs:
