Michele Soavi. What More Cay I Say?
I didn't like it as much as Stagefright, but I liked it a little better than Dellamorte Dellamore. 7.5/10
i liked this... 7
They should have made Demons 3 instead of this. But still not bad.
I liked it, but it's due a revisit.... went with 7.
Oops, forgot to post before, but I rated it a 7 as well. On the subject, I really love the soundtrack, especially the Philip Glass song, "Floe".
I liked the film on my first viewing several years back, but not as much as I was expecting to. Since getting the DVD and rewatching it several times, I've come to like it more and more with each viewing. Its a 9 for me now. The film's style, score, and interesting settings all work in the film's favor, as does the combination of gorgeous and morbidly grotesque imagery. Its a very interesting and intriguing piece of work, both visually and thematically. I'd rank it as Soavi's second best, right behind the masterful Dellamorte Dellamore of course.
A 3 Total Crap
I love it. 9.5
7. Decent enough, but not up there with my favorites. I need to watch it again too.
A little better than average, 6.
8.5 for me.It has great mood and atmospheric locations,a cool score and some momorable scenes(the bell ringing and subway shots come to mind ).A tad more coherent to me than the DEMONS films, but still in the same relentless, fun vein.
Had plotholes you could drive a bus through..but damn.It looked and sounded great!Style over substance all the way..7.5 fer me.
This one grows on me, so I give it an 8. I saw it on VHS several years ago, a very crappy release, Btw, terrible transfer, terrible audio...I mean the video quality was so bad, it was difficult to make things out in the scenes, so it was really hard to follow. That first veiwing I'd give it a 2. It's amazing the difference a good quality release can make.
I gave it a 6.5, but really need to rewatch it. It's the only Soavi film I've enjoyed as a whole so far.
I saw this for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised. It does get a little muddled towards the end, but overall I had a lot of fun with it. 7.5/10.
I love it. I survived 5 viewings and atmosphere still kills me I remember when I saw it first time, as 21 years old guy, I feared few days to visit toilet in the night without flashlight )
8.Nice movie but I liked La Setta more.
A good horror film, I gave it an 8.
Ok, watched it again. Didn't blow my mind, but was slightly better than I remembered. My 6.5 grade still seems fitting, though.
