This has been on my list to catch for a while now. Supposed to be amazing. I'll definitely be checking out once it's available.

Usually when I see a poster for an indie movie, with an art house look, and lots of "Official Selection" logos, and comments from sites like Bloody Disgusting, it usually ends up being pretentious crap.
But if it ends up getting positive reviews over here, I might give it a shot.

Looks like it could be a winner. I also found it very erotic, which seems weird...lol.

Saw this at TIFF last year. Cool film, actually. Not amazing, but not pretentious crap. So don't worry, Steel76. Just pay no mind to the hype over someone throwing up at the screening, though. There is always some f***boi or girl in the audience who will throw up over anything that is not Babadook. They should be shot.

It makes makes damn good case for it. Good story and acting to boot. It is definitely a viable indie release that is shot well but not trying to look polished. Worth a viewing.

This is being released (limited I would assume) in theaters at the end of the month. Alamo Draft House in Houston is doing a double feature with Raw and Ginger Snaps April 1st! Check your local Alamo if they're doing the same. Sounds like a great time.

Saw it tonight, theatrically. Good, not great. But damn, Garance Marillier may be the most beautiful human being currently on this planet.

Rented it on VOD tonight. Good film, certainly worth a watch, but Ginger Snaps and Teeth did a better job of blending horror and female puberty.

Definitely not as gross as it has been hyped up to be, probably on par with Cabin Fever.
