I completely understand that the thread is for stormy horror movies.

    But...

One that fits the recent Hurricane Irene & all the flooding would be the movie Hard Rain The whole movie is raining from beginning to end. Hell the entire movie was shot in a aircraft hanger that they converted to a giant pool. The actors were in water throughout the shooting.

There's always the final scene in Amityville.

More of a thriller but DEATHTRAP features an electrical storm at the climax. The '79 version of DRACULA with Frank Langella opens with a storm at sea.

Some great replies. I ended up watching Dagon and The Deadly Spawn as the hurricane approached. Then I got so sick of rain that I started watching anything without bad weather lol.

Sorry to hear that man, hope you and yours made it through safely and with no damage !
I've heard people who live inland trying to laugh off this storm (and the coverage of it) as being overblown but to the people that really faced the brunt of it it was no laughing matter.

    Dead of winter- steenburgen
    Gates of hell
The orginial Friday the 13th rain storm- loved it when it faded to white during these scenes, because it made it so you were as much in the dark as the characters when the next scenes at night would start and your eyes hadn't adjusted in the theatre. It made me feel like I was experiencing the storm in something like the characters' POV.
