Now that I have the Arrow Deep Red set on the way, I kinda feel like I HAVE to order this now. I can't have one super duper/limited Argento Blu and skip on another.... Damn this sickness!

Oh well... I only have the old AB DVD, so it's a double dip that's a long time coming.

That's the way I feel about it, I only ever had the old AB disc and was holding off on buying any other edition because I knew Synapse had it and it would be a killer edition.;)

So many announcements recently, hard to believe they've been working on all of these all at once!

    That's the problem though.
Instead of working on one or two titles, finish them off and release them (before jumping on the next project), they work on so many project at the same time, that it takes years to release one of them (Suspiria, Phenomena).

I love their products, and I know it will be worth the wait, and I shouldn't complain, but...I want my Suspiria NOW dammit. So stop doing everything else, and get to it!! :D;)

My Tenebrae Steelbook arrived today, can't wait to dig in tonight (time permitting). The packaging is pretty slick, though this thing better blow me away at the price point we all paid.

Edit: I'll be curious what others think but I thought it looked pretty damn good, especially the signature kill near the end which looks so much better (I can go Into more detail about this later). Forgot how much I love this one.

I guess you can't rush perfection, which they tend to do.

Honestly I'm good waiting for Suspiria. I have the UK blu and it will suffice for now. I called 2017 all along, and I think that is when we will see it. I would love to be wrong. My hope is the longer it is put off, the greater a chance of a 4K bluray release.

Was it shipped from Wisconsin by any chance? I see a package shipped from Mountain, WI (via My USPS) that I don't recognize, and I'm guessing that's it. I thought Synapse were located further off in Michigan though.

I look forward to getting it anyway!

I wonder when we can expect some reviews. I'm curious to see how it holds up to other transfers.

I reckon. I'm either going to wait for Synapse's cheaper version (which I'm betting will come despite them saying there's no plans at the moment) or I'll finally bite on Arrow's re-release. Hopefully someone will upload some screen comparisons soon.

Worst of all: you just know their throwing in that CD soundtrack affects the overall price tag 0%.

I'm also considering getting an Arrow over this foolishassness. I was going to plonk down the cash until I saw that "you pay $6 extra for the steelbook" like the hitchhiker in TCM. "It's a good steelbook! You like. It's good!" And no choice to get it without the steelbook.

I didn't notice. I was surprised to get it so fast. I thought it looked great though.

Which old AB DVD- the 1999 one or the anamorphic 2008 one? (Both of which are clearly the same transfer. Just anamorphic.)

1999. But after looking at the capsaholics pics of the new Synapse, I'll probably just save some $ and get the cheaper Arrow remastered edition. Really not that much difference between the two.
