David Cronenberg's Crash has been sent to MOD under Warner Archives:
Too bad, I've been holding out on a Blu-ray for a decade now.

In case there are any '90s Nickelodeon fans out there, Amazon has recently released Doug: The Complete Series and My Brother And Me: The Complete Series.

Submitted for the approval of the HorrorDVDs.com forum...

Forget the volume 1 and volume 2 stuff now... The complete season one of Nickelodeon's 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' is now available at Amazon (though, as a MOD DVD-R)... for only $11.24!

Season 2 is also out now, for $11.24...

Even though I already own DVD-R bootlegs of the entire series, I might have to pick these up. Upgrading my DVD-Rs to... DVD-Rs... :(

I wonder if the soundtrack for The Tale Of The Prom Queen is intact? I heard they removed the song "In The Still Of The Night" from the Canadian DVDs. Very important moment in the episode, it really looses its impact without it.

Not sure if you guys are aware, but the complete series of Are You Afraid of the Dark has been released in Canada on official pressed DVDs. They were OOP and selling for a fortune for a few years but another company has started to re-release them (I think they have released at least the first two seasons so far). I think I saw them for $15-$20 a Season. It's more than the US versions, but I always prefer pressed discs myself even if they are a little more costly.

Looks like Bates Motel will be getting a pressed DVD release on September 2nd, in a 4-movie set with Psycho II - IV.

I already have the Scream Factory blu-rays of II and III, but I'll have to pick this up for IV and Bates Motel.

Someone on blu-ray.com reported ordering Doug: The Complete Series and receiving pressed discs instead of DVD-Rs.

I've never seen MOM but that sure looks like Rawhead Rex behind her.

    Here's an interesting one...

Apparently MGM slapped The Falling (aka Alien Predator) onto MOD DVD-R on August 18th.

I watched it in HD back while it was on NetFlix and I remember it being pretty terrible. Just Lynn-Holly Johnson, Dennis Christopher, and Martin Hewitt driving around the desert for 90 minutes. But cool to know that it's out there. I'm sure it has fans.

If they did The Immortalizer, I would buy that one in a heartbeat. But preferably Kino or Scream will put it on blu-ray.

Well, I might have to eat those words...

    On November 17th, they released:

I love this movie and kind of need it, but can't bring myself to buy it since two of the other MGM DVD-R titles they released on the same day (Miracle Beach and Sonny Boy) are already on their way to blu-ray. Please, PLEASE, Kino or Scream or somebody, put this on blu-ray! There used to be a beautiful HD version on NetFlix, so there's already an HD master ready and waiting.

They also recently released Panga (aka Curse III: Blood Sacrifice) for anyone who is interested.

Just found out that Warner ended up releasing a pressed version of The Halloween Tree in 2016. And since it's single layered it hopefully won't crap out.

I bought it a few months ago for $6 at Amazon. It is indeed a pressed disc, but apparently the same exact disc content as the MOD disc was. They didn't re-author it and add subtitles like they sometimes do.
