I'm easy but I couldn't get into that one. It was too dull for my liking.
Coming to Blu-ray June 27th 2017 from Slasher Video
Already have it pre-ordered with SHAG from the Deep Discount B1G1 sale. $10.49 each.
Its on youtube, i am gonna give it a watch before I commit to a purchase
Unfortunate to see this blu will be sourced from a betamax tape
It is disappointing, but not unexpected. If there's no film source for these movies, I think it's pretty cool that Slasher // Video puts these on blu-ray, considering they are priced pretty much the same as it would be if it were just released on DVD (if for no other reason than the durability of the format). I got mine for $10.49, and it's currently $11.99 on Amazon.
Although I would love to see them tackle another film transfer. Despite the wacky framing and boom-mike cameos (which actually sort of adds a bizarre charm to an already bizarre film), their Satan's Blade disc is a real stunner.
Why So Blu reviews Victims!: http://whysoblu.com/victims-blu-ray-review/
^I agree with the reviewer that Victims is on the boring side. However I sympathize with the quality given its rarity. This can't be worse than the VHS rips floating around out there for those that will want this in their collection just because.
Oh my... Looks like the movie was recorded with a potato. While I might have been curious about the movie, the technical presentation looks more than a bit rough.
I can't do the Betamax upgrade thing. Not that I want movies to disappear but parting with my $$$ requires a film transfer.
A rotting potato intended for the dumpster. Even for the most forgiving collectors, this is hard to justify a purchase.
I've never seen this film and while I understand the quality isn't the best I still picked it up. For less than $12.00 I can't really complain.
Yeah, for $10 with the DDD coupon sale I'm grabbing it.

Cannot wait to view it in all its blurry glory. I used to have it on VHS and it disappeared before I could watch it, but it looked just like this back in the day. I got it in a Woolworth bin at the same time as Horror House on Highway 5. They were $3.95 each. Kinda cool that they both popped up at around the same time thirty years later!
As both a slasher movie completest and a "Nightmare USA" completest, I'm glad to cross this one off my list. Unfortunately, that's one of the few nice things I can say about it.
Poorly made, boring, and way too rapey. If you have the tolerance for movies like Lunch Meat or A Night To Dismember, then give it a try. Otherwise, you can safely skip it.
Also, you're definitely going to want to turn on the subtitles for this one. Just a warning.
The Lunch Meat and Night to Dismember comparisons just made it a must see!!!
I watched Victims! yesterday...and it's pretty bad. The terrible music score sounds like it's lounge music from the earlier 70's.
Lots of nudity throughout the film, but since it looks like a worn VHS tape, there isn't much to see anyway. The sound quality is pretty bad too, but encoded as lossless 24-bit audio... it probably would have sounded just as bad with lossy audio. At least Subtitles made the dialogue understandable.
