Zombie bear....now that would be exciting
Well - here is a bunch of bullshit news coming from Gale Ann Hurd of Walking Dead fame. It appears they have fallen to the outcries of a few to censor or tone down the violence in the show. Don't know how anyone else feels, but what a bunch of crap. I for one am not happy with this news. I also think they are doing the same thing with Fear The Walking Dead. The gore is very restrained in that series. Seems like the censorship is alive and well in this day and age. Very sad. Details in the link:
Well - here is a follow-up to the post above. I guess they are NOT toning down the violence in Walking Dead after all. More information in the link. I for one am glad to hear they are not toning anything down.
Great to hear. Let's get this plot moving, please, too.
Zombeavers had a zombeaver grizzly bear.
Walking Dead won't beat that. Fuck this show.
Eating Sour Patch Kids.
I really liked the spiky-zombie-pit-monster in the last episode.
Lots of characters lying to one another:
Daryl lying to Carol, and the preacher lying to Rick.
Looked like something from the Resident Evil movies.
Anybody notice Cledus's truck from Smokey and the Bandit in the last episode?
They had some outstanding zombies in this past Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead. Photos in the link.
I enjoyed the last episode, with what I assume to be several nods by Nicotero to Evil Dead/AoD:
the sword flying through the air, the Henrietta-esque zombie
The pacing was great, with Rick procrastinating and lulling himself and Michonne into a deadly hubris/complacency.
But that CGI deer! , wow, that was bad. And what is happening to the actor who plays Rosita? She looks dangerously thin, so much so that I thought it a distraction. But I liked her team-up at the episode's end. Bring it on.
So, for of those of you still into the show, what did you think of the season finale? Overall, I felt is was pretty solid with actual tense moments I had not seen this season since Neegan's introduction. Definitely not my favorite season as a whole, but still satisfying enough to see where they take the series this October
I really liked the finale. Very solid and I lookforward to season eight.
Not to bad of a finale. Only like to point out that these people are worst shots when it comes to humans. Zombies, no problem. Humans, they need to adjust their sights.
I thought the finale was good. I think it's going to lead into some pretty awesome things in Season 8.
Honestly, it was satisfying to see Negan and his obnoxious sycophants have to retreat for a change. Plus the Tiger kicking ass was pretty awesome.
I just hope they don't drag ass like they sometimes do. I watched the farm season in binge mode on Netflix, but I can imagine how boring that season must have been from week to week. Same with Terminus. The whole season was them walking along the railroad tracks like the kids from Stand By Me. I think they need to have more heart-pumping scenes and less babbling. That's my opinion anyway. I understand character development, but there comes a point when it just feels like they're stalling because they only have 1 or 2 big things per season and they need to waste time until those are revealed.
Agreed with what's been said. The
was especially impactful given how much of this season was about forming alliances. To have it undone like that was brutal. Plus, yes, tigers, mass carnage, and
surprise zombie attack
Negan remains frustratingly uninteresting, and I really hope Mullet Man gets his comeuppance. The ending voiceover with the watch and a strained attempt to tie back to Glen felt very forced, however. Wish it had ended about 2 minutes earlier.
Check out Frank Darabont's rage filled e-mails to The Walking Dead producers:
Also, stuntman killed on the set:
WOW. This is beyond the pale.
I’m pretty jazzed for this season!
