Pretty cool little list you got there, man......... I'm going to assume the Thing wins this one on this board.

Heat is one of the best god damn action movies ever made. The one bank heist scene where Pacino, De Niro, Sizemore, and Kilmer pretty much fucking destroy 5 city blocks with gun fire...... one of my all time favorite sequences of any movie ever.

I haven't seen most of those movies.

I just voted for The Thing because I do in fact love the cinematography and the score.

I need to rewatch Thief. And Taxi Driver. I've forgotten most of both.

Taxi Driver, Godfather II and OUATITW are old pure gold. I went Taxi Driver.

Blade Runner. It looks so beyond 1982.

Damn dude that's an impressive list of films. I can't decide between Taxi Driver or Blade Runner.

Great list, but I'm too predictable. I went with The Thing.

Never saw Thief, JFK or Once Upon a Time in the West. The rest would make my top 100, but none in my top 10.

    Same.

I think if a person is being completely honest with their own taste, their top 10 favorite films would be a poor measure of what makes cinema itself flawless or outstanding.

The Thing is one of my all time favorites. But if I could choose two, Taxi Driver would be my next choice.

Wow, I'm surprised no vote for Apocalypse Now so far. The first four films in my top 10 are all very equal and the only films of around 6000 viewed that I've given 10/10

I've seen 7 of the films on your list. Only The Thing would make it into my top 10.

Great list and I picked One Upon A Time in the West. I love every second of it. Great baddie, music, sound, acting, story etc... I think the best western ever made!

Bladerunner. My favourite sci-fi film. The Thing is a close runner up.

I went with APOCALYPSE NOW since TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE was nowhere to be found. :) Nice list!

Well i guess it is no surprise that the only horror on the list is winning on this forum, not to mention that it's the greatest film ever made :)

The Thing by default. None of your list reaches my own Top 10, but I watch The Thing more than the others.
