Didn't find a thread about this one.

I never finished the first episode, since it felt like yet another generic season episode.

But episode 3, "Drive-In", sounded promising, so I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did.
A cursed movie, is shown at a drive in, and all hell breaks loose "Demons" style.
Even the lighting and make-up, reminded me of "Demons".

Lots of other fun homages as well.
And Adrienne Barbeau is part of the cast, as the owner of the drive-in.

    I much prefer this format.
As the other show, always starts off promising, and quickly looses steam, or goes of the rails, in the second half of the seasons.

Haven't watched any of the other episodes, but I hope there are more, like this one.

I'm going to catch up eventually with this series. I stopped at the Freak Show season. You are right in that it starts off well but seems to fall apart later on. I can't remember much of these at all. I'm looking forward to this new series and the camp season of the older one.

I love anthology horror, so I'm into it so far. Episode 5 goes up on Hulu in about 45 minutes, so I'm planning to watch then.

Last night's episode "Feral" is the best episode by far. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

So far I liked the Drive-In episode the best. As for the first two episodes, I'm kind of getting tired of the murder house callbacks and the whole rubber man thing. It's just not scary or even unsettling to me. I haven't seen Feral yet. The Ba'al episode was okay, kind of predictable. I spotted the Rosemary's Baby theme immediately.

Tonight's finale is supposed to be another Murder House episode, with the same cast from the premiere episodes.

I just don't get it. With all the seasons they've had, why do they keep revisiting the same thing over and over and over? It's enough already. The S&M dude is old. I wouldn't mind seeing a callback to Freak Show or Asylum. At least we haven't seen those characters 12,000 times.

If the finale had ended about 5 minutes sooner, just before the THREE YEARS LATER title card, it would have been perfect.

Think I'll just skip the final episode.

I think I'm up to the 1984 season, Are we talking about the one after that or am I even more behind?

This is the spin-off anthology show, with a new story every week.

Yeah, the spin-off series American Horror Stories (where every episode is an individual story) just ended its first season this week. Exclusively on Hulu.

The new season of the regular American Horror Story (season theme Double Feature) premieres next week on the 25th with two episodes. This is the season following 1984. It will be airing on FX (next day on Hulu) as per usual.
